Premier Access group was founded in Sacramento, California in 1989 and is comprised of three separate entities: Premier Access Insurance Company, Access Dental Plan and Access Dental Center. The largest of these entities is the insurance company followed by the dental plan. All three companies operate in the dental field. The group of companies will be celebrating its 20th year in business in 2009 with having no quarters in its history of recording a loss.
